Back in 1992, in the quiet village of Havuzdere, Altınova, Yalova, a family dared to dream. On 20 acres of untouched land, they built Büyükbalkan Farmstead—a three-story mansion that would cradle their lives for three decades. For 30 years, it was a home filled with laughter, love, and the whispers of nature. Then, in 2022, this cherished retreat opened its doors to the world, transforming a family’s vision into a haven for travelers like you. Just 40 minutes from Istanbul’s hustle, your chapter in this story is waiting to begin—will you step in?
Picture yourself in our grand mansion: 7 elegant rooms, 6 pristine bathrooms, and space for 14 guests to unwind. The crackling fireplace warms the spacious lounge, the billiards table sparks friendly rivalries, and the fully equipped kitchen invites you to create. Beyond the windows, the sea and nature paint a breathtaking canvas. Ready for a dip? Our kidney-shaped pool—65 cm shallow, 180 cm deep—is your private oasis, tucked away from prying eyes. With showers, restrooms, changing rooms, and a chic outdoor bar, every detail screams relaxation. When the mansion’s quiet, the poolside transforms—hosting up to 65 for weddings, engagements, meetings, or birthdays. In summer, it’s yours for the day, welcoming 10-20 sunseekers—grab your spot before it’s gone! The poolside building adds a touch of luxury: a kitchen, a cozy fireplace lounge, and a jacuzzi room for extra indulgence, with an upper floor ready for your events.
Craving fun? The Mancave is your playground! A bar to sip and chat, a projector for match nights, PlayStation, foosball, and a mini studio with drums and guitars—pure joy awaits. Outside, a pergola with seating and a BBQ area seals the deal. Stay with us or rent it solo—it’s your vibe, your rules!
Nature calls louder here. Pick strawberries in our 250 m² greenhouse, pluck pomegranates, lemons, apples, olives, mandarins, oranges, grapes, plums, and peaches from our orchards in season. Wander the walking trail, plant flowers in our hobby workshop, find peace in the meditation room, or gather around the fire pit under a starlit sky. Our rooms are your sanctuary—stocked with towels, shampoo, a hairdryer, TV, and Wi-Fi. Staying longer? Housekeeping’s on us. Hungry? Our chef crafts world-class dishes, half or full board—your choice. Parking’s a breeze: 7 spots for guests, 40 for events.
